Louis de Bruin has been successfully developing and implementing cutting edge technology at business and government organizations worldwide for over 30 years. He is leading developments that integrate Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things enabling the coming generation of business and government systems that are autonomous, sustainable, and resilient. He currently serves as Blockchain Thought Leader for IBM Global Business Services in Europe and is on the Strategic Advisory Board of the Centre for Resilience Engineering of the four collaborating Technical Universities in the Netherlands. Louis is working with the Linux Foundation's Hyperledger Fabric effort, an open source technology used to develop enterprise grade Blockchains. He is also active in bridging the business world with the academic field by being a guest lecturer at various universities. At the YES!Delft start-up community, Louis mentors start-ups in the Blockchain space. He also serves as board member at the WSB foundation that drives the adoption of renewable energy and actively works with schools and universities to help young people to build a future with sustainable energy. Louis is a frequent speaker at international events and co-author of the book "Working with Blockchain". He holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Eindhoven.
